A single dental implant is about as close as modern dentistry gets to your original tooth. We place a small titanium root into your jaw, allow it to heal, then fit a crown that looks and feels like the tooth you lost — without touching the healthy teeth on either side.
With a conventional bridge, the two healthy teeth flanking the gap have to be filed down to anchor the new crown. An implant sidesteps all that — it stands on its own, so nothing else needs to be touched. Your neighbouring teeth are left exactly as they were, cleaning around the new tooth is just like flossing a natural one, and the implant helps stop the bone loss that otherwise follows a missing tooth.

A free consultation plus a 3D CT scan, so we can check your bone levels and map out exactly where the implant should go.
The implant is placed under local anaesthetic — around 60 minutes.
A check-up at 2 weeks to make sure everything is healing as expected.
Once 3–6 months of healing are behind you, we take impressions and fit your final crown.

Pricing for a single implant with crown starts at £2,500, covering the CT scan, the implant itself, the healing cap and the final crown — and we always put the exact figure in writing before you commit to anything.
Budget 3–6 months from the implant going in to the final crown going on. Nearly all of that time is bone healing quietly in the background — your actual chairside time is just two short appointments.
No — that's exactly why implants often win out over bridges — the teeth either side of the gap stay completely untouched.
For most people, yes. Anyone finding a partial denture uncomfortable usually finds a fixed, permanent implant a welcome alternative.
