Overview — 001

Comfortable, natural-looking dentures designed specifically for you.

Whatever the situation — a single missing tooth, several gaps, or a need for a complete set — we build your denture around your mouth, bite and features rather than off a shelf. Every case is planned carefully to strike the right balance between comfort, stability and a natural look, so you can smile without holding back. We keep denture work in-house rather than posting it off to an external lab, which means our dentists and technicians can collaborate directly through your treatment, tweak things quickly, and generally keep waiting times down. Most patients need three to four appointments about a fortnight apart to complete a denture, though having the lab on site sometimes lets us move faster than that.

  • Individually designed for comfort and appearance
  • Choice of acrylic or chrome cobalt dentures
  • Crafted with our in-house dental laboratory
  • Faster turnaround available where clinically possible
  • Designed to restore chewing ability and confidence
  • Natural-looking teeth selected to suit your smile
The process — 002

How it goes, step by step.

4 stages
  1. 01
    30–45 min

    Consultation & assessment

We examine your mouth, talk through what you're hoping for, and work out which type of denture fits your needs best, answering any questions you have about comfort, looks and looking after it long-term.

  2. 02
    30–45 min

    Impressions & records

Detailed impressions and measurements of your mouth are taken so your new denture fits as precisely as possible, alongside recording your bite and agreeing the size, shape and shade of your new teeth.

  3. 03
    30–45 min

    Try-in appointment

Ahead of the finished denture, there's usually a try-in stage, where you get to see how your new smile looks while we check fit, bite and overall appearance before the final version is made.

  4. 04
    30–60 min

    Fit & review

Your finished denture is fitted, adjusted as needed and checked for comfort, and we'll talk you through caring for it and book in any review visits that are needed.

The things people actually ask.

  • Acrylic dentures suit plenty of patients and can cover anything from a handful of teeth up to a whole arch. Chrome cobalt dentures build in a lightweight metal framework for extra strength and support, which tends to make them a good fit for many partial cases.

  • Getting a denture right usually takes three to four appointments, spaced roughly two weeks apart. Having our own laboratory on the premises often lets us finish faster than practices that rely on an outside lab.

  • Yes — the size, shape and shade of your new teeth are chosen carefully to suit your smile, face and age, so the end result reads as natural rather than obviously artificial.

  • Yes. New dentures often feel a bit strange to begin with, which is entirely normal. Give it a few weeks — your muscles and mouth soon get used to them.

  • It's sensible to stick to softer food to start with while you find your feet. Confidence builds quickly, and most people are back to a normal, varied diet before long.

  • Well looked-after dentures typically serve you for five to ten years. Bear in mind that your gums and jawbone change shape over time, so relining, adjustment or eventual replacement is often needed.
